A well respected independent Opticians based in Edinburgh, Scotland, are looking for a full time Optical Practice Manager.
The focus of the company is to put the patient first and they strive to provide the best service, range of frames and lenses possible. This has led to them being the premier independent Opticians in Edinburgh.
Optical Practice Manager – The Role
- Clinically focused independent
- Technologically advanced
- Single testing room
- Manage a team of 4 people
- Fabulous collection of top designer frames
- Hands on management role
- Dealing with complex patient queries
- Training and mentoring staff
- Inspiring the team
- Target setting and monitoring outcomes
- Input into the business
- Working closely with the Directors to drive the business forward
- Full time – 5 days a week including Saturdays
- Typical working hours between 9am to 5pm
- Salary between £23,000 to £35,000
Optical Practice Manager – Requirements
- Ideally a qualified Dispensing Optician registered with the GOC
- Experienced non qual Managers will also be considered
- Leadership and management experience
- Independent experience
- Passionate about optics
- Motivational
- Self-motivated
- Focus on customer service
- Organised
