Opticians vacancies and Dispensing Optician jobs based in Leicester, Leicestershire.  Zest Optical recruitment are currently seeking to recruit a full or part time Dispensing Optician on behalf of an independent Opticians in Leicester.

A patient focused independent Opticians based in Leicester (Just East of the City Centre) are looking for a full or part time Dispensing Optician to join the team.

You will be able to provide patents with a personalised dispensing experience, working with some amazing frame and lens brands.  

Dispensing Optician  – Role

  • Community based independent
  • Single testing room practice
  • Team of 3-4 people
  • Loyal patient base spanning generations
  • Focus on patient care
  • Making sure the practice runs smoothly
  • High level of clinical freedom - You decide how to manage the patient, and what lens/frame you want to dispense
  • Meeting with reps and assisting with frame selection
  • Regular investment into new equipment and new products
  • Access to amazing brands – Lindberg, Cocoa Mint, Ray-Ban
  • Accounts with most lens suppliers
  • Working between Tues to Sat
  • 4 or 5 days a week
  • Opening hours from 9am to 5.30pm
  • Salary up to £32,000
  • Professional fees paid
  • Free parking close by

Dispensing Optician - Requirements

  • Fully qualified Dispensing Optician registered with the GOC
  • Gujarati speaking
  • Willing to learn and develop
  • Wants be able to provide the very best service possible
  • Interest in brands and eyewear trends
  • Focus on clinical excellence
